Most dealerships quote weeks and most general mechanics won't touch a high-voltage system at all. This is a national directory of real, independent shops that actually will — 26 of 50 states researched so far, with honest confidence tags on every listing rather than pretending every lead checked out equally.
Where this data comes from: every shop below was checked directly on its own website for explicit EV/hybrid high-voltage service language — not pulled from a generic "auto repair" directory or a search snippet. Each listing carries a confidence tag: confirmed (named certification or clear first-party HV-specific language), moderate (real EV/hybrid specialty, but certification specifics thin), or low confidence (verified only through an aggregator/press mention, a stale-looking site, or some other caveat spelled out in the note). Nothing here is invented — where a shop's status is shaky, the card says exactly why.
Coverage status: 26 states have at least one real shop identified. The other 24 aren't necessarily empty of options — several ran out of research time rather than coming back genuinely blank — they just don't have a confirmed listing yet. That's the next round of work, not a dead end.
Pick any of the 50 states. Covered states show real shops with confidence tags; the rest are flagged as not yet researched.
